Travis the Cat needs a home

Meet Travis:
Travis was brought in from outside with a bad eye infection, and very thin from hunger on a cold and rainy day from a wooden area near the 404 and Steele's area by his rescuer who seen him sitting by the road.
He is a very handsome, medium haired white and grey cat with a fluffy tail and green eyes. When he first arrived at the NTCR he was very scared and would hiss, swat and hide if you got close.
Within a short time, and lots of patience Travis has lost much of his distrust. When you approach he is the first to come running to see if you have any treats or wet food and will wind in and out around your ankles waiting. Travis likes to clean up the dishes of any leftovers that maybe left by others.
When approached slowly he will stay and even let you have a pet or two. He has not fully learned to walk away instead he will reach out to say that's enough. He likes other cats and playing with those cat springs and sponge balls. He enjoys sitting on the window ledge watching whats going on outside.
Travis will be the one that comes to greet you when you walk thru the door, and follow you around. We believe he will become a lap cat with time and patience.
